Equipping Kids to Carefully Evaluate Every Idea They Encounter.Jul 31, 2018 · Once we expose naturalism’s idol of matter, we need to help our children see how this idol contrasts what we find in reality. No one consistently lives as if only the physical world exists. Humans inherently know that certain non-physical principles are real. Take morality, for example. Morality is not physical. Pray for wisdom, pray that God would soften your heart towards this child, root yourself in the local church because in your local body, you're going to be able to find wisdom and insight that I can't offer to you because I don't know the exact situation. Now, just in general to anyone asking this question, I have a strong-willed child.So if this is the case, highly encourage you to do several things. First, pray okay. Again, only the Holy Spirit can soften hearts. So pray for your child consistently that God would soften his or her heart as only God can do. Second thing, I really encourage you to seek out why there is this relational struggle. The lessons break down complex truths about God in simple ways through repetition, games, and deep-thinking questions. The first 13 lessons focus on the incommunicable attributes of God — the attributes that only God possesses. A few examples are “God is self-existent,” “God is infinite,” and “God is immutable.”.
